Thanks, Jenny! :)
I also signed up for the class you mentioned. It aligns well with a book I
have been reading called, *True or False, A CIA Analysts's Guide to
Spotting Fake News* by Cindy Otis, 2020.
I have done the typical reading on evaluating websites and Fake news, but
this book is filling me in on a ton of details, the history of Fake news,
and more recent examples I had not read. It's geared towards middle school
and high school students, but I am finding it eye opening and informative.
She gives some exercises in the back which I have not had time to assess to
see if they will be adaptable for the grades I teach. I am finding it
helpful for filling in my background knowledge.
Looking forward to learning more in the class! Thanks again!
Gail
