[CASL-L] invoices

How long do you generally keep invoices from library orders, subscriptions,
book fairs, etc...? I'm trying to thin out and organize the library files.
Our library has invoices going back years. I was thinking keep stuff from 3
years bach and shred the rest but I was wondering if there was a rule of
thumb on this?
