We use LibraryTrac in a high school of about 900. Totally worth it. In a
non-pandemic year we use it for 2 primary things:

   - How many study hall students come and go every block - we use the
information to help defend our need to keep our clerk. Monitoring study
hall is nearly a full time job
   - Record each class that visits the library, what teacher, what they do,
how many students we serve, and what level of collaboration was involved
   with the teacher librarians
      - So we have records to show how many classes we serve but also what
our level of involvement was. If a teacher just wanted to bring
their class
because it's hot and we have air conditioning - we can pull that data. If
we developed a project together with them from scratch - we can pull that
      data.

In this pandemic year we added in the Library Trac pass system. We just
reopened the library a few weeks ago and we use Library Trac to monitor
that:

   - Students use the pass system to sign up for a pass to come to the
library. There are only 20 spots available so we don't take more than 20
   students.
   - When they get there, they scan a QR code at their table to sign in and
enter their table number. Now we know who was here, when, and what table
they sat at. This is for contact tracing purposes.

I'm a big fan. I think Library Trac is totally worth it. Especially at the
high school level. Outsiders always want to measure what we do by tracking
circulation stastics. Our circulation statistics are abysmally low. Library
Trac shows what we do all day.
