[CASL-L] Subbing due to lack of coverage

Dear colleagues—

How many of you spent a portion of the past week as a substitute because of
the lack of classroom coverage by actual substitutes? It’s worse than ever
this year, and not only when media specialists are covering classes, but
also when one substitute covers multiple classes without coverage in the
Media Center. Today we had one substitute covering six teachers’ classes in
the MC, closed to all other students. It’s unfair to students, teachers,
and substitutes, and I’m wondering how much worse it is in other districts.
