[CASL-L] Subbing due to lack of coverage

There’s usually a day or two each week where there’s no sub or internal coverage and up to 8 classes are sent to the library. If it’s a lunch wave, most go to the cafe. Sub shortage in Southington - always - but worse this year.

It's bad here, although because I'm elementary, I have to teach my classes. But every day I'm covering something.

It’s worse than ever this year, and not only when media specialists are covering classes, but also when one substitute covers multiple classes without coverage in the Media Center. It’s unfair to students, teachers, and substitutes, and I’m wondering how much worse it is in other districts.
