[CASL-L] short stories suggestions

Hi,

As a 7th grade LA teacher, I used "Why I Learned to Cook" by Sara Farizan
from the compilation *Fresh Ink*. Clear LGBTQ narrative and kids liked it a
lot. I also liked "Flying Lessons" by Soman Chainani from the
compilation *Flying
Lessons and other Short Stories*. The boy protagonist is discovering his
identity and the LGBTQ connection is ambiguous. I thought it was great.
