[CASL-L] Maker Space ideas and budget

Good morning everyone,

On Friday I was tasked with creating a maker space at the HS library and coming up with a budget - in an instant. I would appreciate any and all ideas. I will have a decent space with shelving. I imagine whatever furniture I get will be used (well-used), but it's a start. I will need storage bins. What works best? I'd love to hear what has worked in your spaces. I'm thinking no 3D printers to start, but other techy ideas would be great. I will be putting the space together over the summer. The hive mind is brilliant. I appreciate whatever you have a minute for at this time of year. I know my stress levels skyrocketed on Friday! But the thought of having something fun in the library next year makes all the difference.
