I'm not sure if anyone else caught an excellent online panel discussion on Indigenous authors for children and young adults, featuring Eric Gansworth, Darcie Little Badger, Cynthia Leitich Smith, Brian Young (who went to school in CT--and, he says, endured some insensitive experiences there), etc.
Also making sure NO ONE used some cataloguing I saw about a year ago, not sure what company created it, that had Darcie Little Badger's name alphabetized as Badger, Darcie Little.  GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
With the amount and quality of Native American-created titles being released, I suspect the AILA award will become annual before too long.
