Hello all,

The Director of Educational Technology in my district asked that I pass
this along as CEN would love to bring more Media Specialists to join this
opportunity:

The 2023 Connecticut Education Network (CEN) Member Conference will be held
at the Connecticut Convention Center on May 11, 2023. The CEN conference
works to have sessions on a variety of topics and is currently accepting
sessions proposals that can fall into one (or more) of the four main
conference tracks:

   - *Cybersecurity*: This track highlights the growing technical
challenges of securing our member organizations' devices and data in our
institutions' daily work as well as present examples of policy approaches
   and accomplishments.
   - *Community Best Practices*: This track includes sessions that will
focus on systems and solutions that seek to address issues in any of the
vertical groups served by CEN: K-12 schools, libraries, municipalities, and
higher ed. This track encourages discussions of emerging technologies,
evolving trends, and how use of CEN has made innovative problem solutions
   possible.
   - *Innovation in Education*: This track highlights sessions that will
focus on the integration of technology tools into schools, classrooms,
libraries and other organizations to advance learning.
   - *Advanced Networking*: This track addresses any aspect of networking
technologies. Submissions in this track will be tailored toward a technical
attendee base and will include a deeper dive into the topic.

Additionally, there are two options for presentation format:

   - Parallel Session (Traditional, 50 minute presentation)
   - Poster presentation (also for 50 minutes but setup so that presenters
create a display and answer questions regarding their topic)

If you have a topic and are interested in submitting a proposal to present,
submissions can be completed electronically by going to the 2023 CEN Member
Conference Session Submission page
<https://www.cvent.com/c/abstracts/13f5f44b-3009-4706-bbee-79ac58e75ac3>.
Submissions are due by December 30, 2022. If you session is chosen, you
will receive free admission to the CEN Member Conference.

We hope you will consider submitting a proposal and to see you at the
conference!
