[CASL-L] Collection Goals

Hi all,

The Newington K-12 library team is wondering if anyone knows where
Follett/Titlewave gets their default collection statistic goals.

Specifically, we're wondering if anyone knows if there are specific
goals/recommendations for:

   1. Number of books per student (Titlewave uses 25 as the default, but
   where does this number come from?)
   2. Proportion of Fiction vs. Nonfiction
   3. Average age of collection (overall and/or by section)


If there are guidelines, does anyone know who determined the guidelines and
what are they based on? Do the guidelines vary from level to level and/or
state to state?
