Hello all,

I want to send a reminder that there is no longer a "secret list" for the
Nutmeg reveal. What does this mean? It means that in order to get the
titles for next year's Nutmegs, you have to sign up for our newsletter by
March 14th. On March 15th, the titles are released only through our
newsletter. We do not post them onto the listservs, you don't send requests
anymore through a google form, you just have to be signed up for that
mailing list. If you aren't signed up, you can sign up HERE.

The change from the secret February reveal to this new March non-secret
reveal was something the Nutmeg Book Award had to put in place in 2022 and
will continue moving forward. March 15th is now the earliest you will be
able to know of the next year's titles due to issues with publisher
verification and vendor production guarantees.

We do also want to let you know that due to the HarperCollins Strike, we
may not get the publication and production guarantees for many of the books
on these lists even by March 15th. With so many titles out of this
publishing house, if we do not get the responses from them before this
date, we will not wait to release the titles so that our librarians can
know the titles in hopes that they will be able to be purchased.

Our committees and volunteers work extremely hard on these lists and we
hope you can understand why we have had to make these changes to the book
reveal.
