Hi Elaine - Because I'm at a PreK-2 school I don't have very many books
about Indigenous peoples. If I had 3rd and 4th graders I would certainly be
weeding and purchasing new books. If I find any newer series, I'll share. I
would try to find books that were written by Indigenous people or try to
make sure that they were consulted.

Cynthia Leitich Smith is the creator of the Heartdrum imprint of
HarperCollins. I don't know if they do nonfiction or not, but here's her
site
<https://cynthialeitichsmith.com/heartdrum-a-native-focused-imprint-of-harpercollins/>.
I didn't look at all of it, but maybe she has resources or we could even
reach out to her for suggestions.

I'll keep digging because I know I've been to conferences where they have
shared other imprints or maybe others on this list-serv know of some.
