Monday, January 30 is a big day in the children’s and teen literature/library world: theALA Youth Media Awards! The awards will be announced Monday starting at 9:00 am during the ALA Lib Learn X, The Library Learning Experience conference. Library staff, teachers and students, and book lovers worldwide are welcome to follow results by visiting ALA’s streaming platform at http://ala.unikron.com, or ALA’s social media channels, includingFacebook, YouTube, or Twitter, by following hashtag #alayma.
 
 
 
In addition to the Coretta Scott King, Caldecott, Newbery, Printz and all your other favorite ALA Youth Media Awards, ALA also will announce Affiliate Awards Including the Asian/Pacific American Awards for Literature and Sydney Taylor Book Award.
