[CASL-L] Anyone have a Demco Cover One Book Repair Machine? What do you think?

Is this the same one or similar to the one you can get with Scholastic Dollars? I’m looking to get one and our book fair was profitable.

The librarians in our district are chatting about this Demco Cover One Book Machine and I'm wondering if any other librarians have this or have used it before and can provide feedback?
Do you love how it repairs books? Do you think it's worth the almost $1800?
