[CASL-L] book suggestions

Hello,
Our district buys books, in honor of teachers and administrators of the
year, for our school library. This person is a big New York Giants and New
York Mets fan. I was hoping to find a book that is similar to Heat by Mike
Lupica. That book takes place near Yankee Stadium. I'd like to find a
sports FICTION book that is similar to Heat but includes the Giants or
Mets. The book needs to be for middle grade/middle school. I already have
the books by Tiki and Ronde Barber on my list.

Can anyone suggest anything?
