[CASL-L] Picture book recommendations (Margarida Alves)

A couple I’ve enjoyed recently:

*Chef Roy Choi and the Street Food Remix* by Jacqueline Briggs Martin -
nonfiction biography about the chef, illustrated like graffiti and is just
cool.

*Betty’s Burgled Bakery *by Travis Nichols - an alliteration-themed
mystery. Silly story, but the use of literary devices is a neat educational
opportunity.
