[CASL-L] Book Suggestions please

Hello everyone,

I had this request from a teacher and was wondering if you have any
suggestions for appropriate titles for one of our sixth graders?  He likes
any genre including fantasy.  Thanks in advance!

 "I have a student who is reading at an upper high school level (he's
maxed out on IXL! kid genius) and his mom is looking for
recommendations for books he can read that are subject appropriate for a
6th grader, but more challenging than say Refugee or Esperanza Rising. I
was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for me that I could pass
along to mom? He has read most of the popular series like HP and Maze
Runner. "
