Hi.  Here’s a request from a teacher.  Any suggestions welcome!

I was wondering if you know of any grade 1 appropriate read alouds that discuss themes of how the past influences the present? My class is discussing how it is important to learn about the past and study its impact on the present in social studies. I was hoping to read them a book that explores this idea.
