Good Morning CT Libraries, here's what's going on this week.

CLC HAPPENINGS

The August issue of the CLC newsletter will drop later today!  Make sure you don't miss our three brand new contracts for promotional supplies.  Think tote bags, mugs, t-shirts, pencils and more.  We've got three new vendors:  Crestline<https://www.ctlibrarians.org/page/crestline>, Vanguard<https://www.ctlibrarians.org/page/vanguard> and UBEO<https://ubeoclc.logoshop.com/>.  Haven't heard of these vendors before?  You'll want to.  Shop around, we think you'll find the very best deals through this contract.

Have a customer service or sales rep that you think is doing a great job for your library?  Nominate them for the second annual CLC Customer Service Award!<https://forms.gle/GjJakUdqaZS3CttJ8>  Nominations we'll close later in August.  In September we'll all vote for who should receive our top award! NEWS OF NOTE

Hooray for the Library Association of Warehouse Point<https://patch.com/connecticut/windsorlocks/warehouse-point-library-earmarked-facility-improvement-funding> and the Essex Library<https://www.murphy.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/murphy-blumenthal-announce-766-million-for-connecticut-projects-in-five-appropriations-bills-passed-by-committee>!  They are both one step closer to federal money to fund infrastructure improvements!
