I agree with Cathy and Lauren...  a child's reading history cannot be
released to anyone without that child's express permission... please don't
let your principal preemptively violate the rights of a reader!  I'm happy
to help you find backup if you need it, and would strongly recommend that
the parents simply have conversations with their kiddo.
