[CASL-L] CASL conference question

Hello all!
Newly certified LMS here. I’m still in the classroom but asked my principal
if I could attend the CASL conference in October. She told me yes, as long
as I can also show how it’s valuable to my current 5th grade language arts
teaching experience. Can anyone help me justify this? What kids of
presentations will also benefit classroom teachers?
