Hello!
Can you please help a librarian out?
As of this moment, the 2024 Governor's Summer Reading Challenge is not
available. The website is still 2023. On April 30th I reached out to Joanne
R. White <Joanne.R.White at ct.gov>, at the State DOE and emailed:
Good Morning!
I am wondering if you might tell me when the Governor's Summer Reading
Challenge
might be updated to 2024? I am referring to this website page.
<https://portal.ct.gov/sde/ctread/connecticut-reads>
Thank you!
And I received a reply the same day:
Hello Christine,
We are currently working on updating the website, and plan to post the 2024
documents within the next few weeks.
Thank you,
Joanne
Our principal has scheduled our summer reading kickoff for May 30th and I
was planning to simply use the governor's program as we are in the process
of moving. However, I am concerned that we may not have the information in
time.
Could you all please also email Joanne <joanne.r.white at ct.gov> and request
information on the 2024 program? Feel free to copy/paste my message above!
Maybe if we are all asking, it might give a little nudge?
Thank you!
