Hi all - if your students use eBooks - we need your help! We need to let
legislators know how important eBooks are to your students. You can submit
written testimony or sign up to speak on Friday. See below for more
information.
>From Ellen Paul at CLC:
Very fast, very important: The Government Administration and Elections
committee released their ebook bill late last week: S.B. 1234
<https://cga.ct.gov/asp/cgabillstatus/cgabillstatus.asp?selBillType=Bill&which_year=2025&bill_num=1234>.
They will take public comment and testimony on Friday at Noon. If you are
for or against this bill, this is your opportunity to tell legislators. No
link to the agenda or testimony sign up yet. My guess is that it will be
posted today or tomorrow here
