Please push back on this. When I was a school librarian in a middle school with a fixed schedule I had to grade about the same number of students as you with approximately the same format… 6 days, 40 minutes, about 750 students. It was a nightmare and incredibly time-consuming. Plus, I had to have parent-teacher conferences with all the parents too!
At my middle school all the other “special teachers” had a fourth or fewer students per grading period. The school eventually switched to a flex scheduled and the job became so much more enjoyable.
Get your union involved because this is unreasonable and I’m guessing no other teacher in the building has the same load. And if there are other teachers with the same load, go to the union as a group and demand support.

I give grades to almost 500 scholars. We have 3 terms per year, with grades given each term.
