Hi Christine,
Sora (Overdrive) does offer many free books. Does your school have Sora? If
so, he can access more books by searching for his local public library,
entering his public library number, and he will have access to their
collection as well.
If there is no Sora at your school, he can download the Libby app and
access the local library's collection that way.
Another thing that we have incorporated here at our school is the eGO CT
program <https://libguides.ctstatelibrary.org/egoctcommunityshare> through
the state of CT. If your library uses Destiny, then you can request access
via Destiny to these books for free.
Hope this helps!
