Good Morning,
I am working on putting together the Nov. episode of "The Bookish State:
Tips for Teachers and Librarians," and the focus of the educator episode is
going to be using a Battle of the Books to promote the nutmegs and get
readers involved and excited! My guest is going to be the amazing Shannon
McNeice!
We are wondering if anyone out there is doing/has done a battle of the
books and if so, do you have any great tips/tricks or helpful resources we
could share with listeners?
Also, Shannon and I are thinking it would be fun to plan an official Nutmeg
Battle of the Books and have teams from different schools across CT
compete. *If you would be interested in either planning this event and/or
having some of your students participate, *please let me know!!
And if you haven't already, please check out "The Bookish State: Tips for
Teachers and Librarians" <https://www.thebookishstate.com/>podcast. We have
5 episodes and the 6th will go live on Tuesday!
Have a wonderful weekend and hope to hear from you soon!
