[CASL-L] new circulation desk...

I have purchased used chairs from Transfer Enterprises in Manchester... they have a huge warehouse where you can go and look around.
It's office furniture, so you wouldn't be able to get a circulation desk per se, but maybe you can buy just the book return piece new, and then pull together the rest of the area from used desk/cubicle pieces? They were easy to work with, and I imagine if you tell them what you're trying to accomplish, they might be able to help figure out a plan...

Subject: [CASL-L] new circulation desk...
Hello all,
Hope everyone is doing well...
I have a small opportunity to modestly renovate my library. My budget is extremely meager and I would like to replace the circulation desk. I'm wondering if there's a warehouse somewhere with second-hand furniture for libraries that I could checkout? Or maybe there's someone replacing a circulation desk that would like to donate their used desk? I'm looking for 10ish feet of counter space (in possible modular pieces) with a curved side or cornered side (including a book return).
Or maybe someone knows of a person who would renew the pieces I have (they are not badly worn, just dated and could use new surfaces - maybe a new veneer, if that exists). Thanks for your help ahead of time...
