[CASL-L] Help CLC Evaluate Book Vendors

Good Afternoon CASL -

Later this summer, CLC will be issuing an RFP for book vendors - both wholesalers and publishers.  I'm looking for a few school librarians to help us evaluate proposals.  Here's what this opportunity looks like:


  1.  A half hour call with me to understand the bid process and make sure this is a good fit for you.
  2.  A one hour virtual meeting with me and CLC staff on or around August 10 to receive the proposals you'll evaluate and training on how to evaluate the proposals.
  3.  About two weeks to evaluate the proposals you're given.  You could receive anywhere from 2 to 5 proposals.  Estimate about an hour for each proposal.  The first one will be slower, then you'll get faster as you learn the structure of the documents.
  4.  A one hour virtual meeting with me an CLC staff the week of August 24 to review your feedback.
