[CASL-L] Author - Jonathan Miller

Hello,

If anyone is looking for an author to visit with your K–5 students, you
should consider Jonathan Miller. He visited our school yesterday, and he
was fabulous!

Jonathan has published four books, with a fifth coming out in November. The
children were immediately drawn to the lovable Sammy, the dachshund who
stars in his books. Jonathan kept students engaged with stories about
Sammy’s adventures, how he gets ideas for his books, and the process he
uses to create his illustrations.

What I especially liked was how well he connected with the students. His
presentation was fun, interactive, and age-appropriate, and the kids were
excited to ask questions and learn more about both writing and illustrating.

It was a wonderful author visit, and I would definitely recommend Jonathan
to anyone looking for an engaging author experience for elementary students!
