Hi all-
Where do you shelve light novels in a genrified high school library?
I’m starting to get requests for light novels—some tied to manga/anime,
others adapted from webcomics or web novels. Since I don't have the space
or budget to purchase a lot of these or to create a standalone light novel
section, I’m debating between two options:
1.
Adding the few titles into our existing Manga/Graphic Novel section.
2.
Shelving them within their corresponding prose genre sections (e.g.,
Fantasy, Sci-Fi).
How do you handle these in your space, and what works best for student
discovery?
