I did a cool pacman spinoff board one year. It was really easy to make since it was all paper strips and circles. I used the cutout of a book instead of the ghost characters. I've seen it done with different phrases: take a byte out of a good book, chomp on a good book, etc. I did the om nom nom thing since it made the kids laugh.

Hello,
Getting ready to go back to school, and I'm feeling pretty good about it until I think of the dreaded bulletin board. I don't know why, but I can't stand this task, so this year I'm going to try to make it easier and more efficient for myself by trying to have one main theme up there and just change the border and accents seasonally. But...what to make the main idea/phrases/pictures up there? Considering a word cloud type of thing, but would love to know what others do, if you do anything like this or just awesome ideas in general? Many thanks--I'm not crafty at all, so I'm envious of beautiful bulletin boards, but that's just not me.
Thanks!
