I've followed along all threads having to deal with enrichment groups at the elementary level as I've had a few of these groups the past two years, but this year the schedule and way we're doing it has changed. I'm going from 30 minutes every week with a set group of about 6-8 kids to 30 minutes every third week with an entire class. I actually think of this new way as not enrichment, but an extra special, but...not up to me. Anyhow, any thoughts on what would be great for the kids with this kind of schedule with an entire class? Off the bat I can tell you that we do not have any makerspace items or will we be getting any at least the first half of the year. I'm very open to any ideas. I'm thinking the every third week concept will make it difficult to work on a continuous project with the kiddos, but I could be wrong...
