Hi folks,
Just checking in some JLG books that came in over the summer and came across
Queer, There and Everywhere: 23 People Who Changed the World by Sarah Prager.
The author ascribes some labels for historical figures (Joan of Arc, Lincoln) with a bit of a wink that seems a little disingenuous.
I’m a little uncomfortable telling people Lincoln was gay, (maybe, could be, probably) or describing Joan of Arc as a cross dresser.
Anyone care to weigh in?
Hey, it’s the beginning of the year, nothing like a healthy debate about an unresolvable issue to get things started.
I’ll take my answer off the air.
Welcome back everyone.
