Hi Chris,

Paul V. is visiting both our middle and high schools in March for entire days.  He was able to give a discount, but it is still quite costly.  I think it will be worth the visit or even a skype hangout (costs less) if you can get it funded.  I can let you know how the visit goes, but it is scheduled to be similar to Jennifer's description.

Respectfully,

Good morning everyone,
I received an email from the author Paul Volponi about visiting my school (or others) for a presentation/workshop.
While I would certainly be interested in having him come, I wanted to get some feedback from anyone who might have had him at your school.
What are his presentations/workshops like? Do they get the students involved as well as him speaking?
Also, besides this, one of my main concerns is the cost. I don't have the funding left in my library account, but could ask the PTSA to help support the visit. He did mention his willingness to work with schools on his fee for the day.
For those who have had him visit, would you be able to let me know a general idea of his honorarium so I can see if it's possible or not.
Thanks in advance.
Chris
