Hello,

In regard to my previous request, speakers do not have to be authors...we are trying for wide variety of dynamic people as speakers to offer during what we call our "Flex" period (30 min) for our students to meet/ask questions, etc.  It is more about exposure to lots of different success stories/people as a motivational/inspirational tools for our diverse student body.

Please include a brief description of the speaker (why worthy of the visit or why recommended).  Thanks!

Respectfully,

Loretta,

Are you specifically looking for authors?  Last spring we were lucky to bring in Andrew Smith in person.  He also does Skype visits.  He's in California.   I highly recommend him, though it works best with groups that have read his books.

Hello,

Our school is working on a collection of speakers to visit during the day (or via Hangouts/Skpe).  I was wondering if you collectively have some good recommendations of speakers that would qualify for this brief description that I could pass on to the coordinator of this?  I would be happy to share responses with anyone/school that is interested.  Thanks ahead of time!
