I may be biased, because I've been writing and reviewing for SLC in all its many incarnations and ownerships since the late 1980s. Because the articles are written by practicing teacher librarians, the information is real-life and relevant, which I love and appreciate. The reviews, however, are behind, because of the publication schedule; for up-to-date reviews, even I rely on Booklist and SLJ, and online sources, instead. Hope that helps.
