During Affiliate Assembly I at ALA MW 18, participants had the opportunity to discuss ways to work with state department of education, share strategies with other affiliates, methods of disseminating information to stakeholders, and providing training for stakeholders.  Based on these discussions the AASL Vision for Implementing ESSA Task Force developed a resource that will address some of the issues discussed. The resource is now available on the ESSA and School Libraries Resources and Information Page

This document provides links to resources that address Technology, High Quality Educators, Help for Low Achieving Schools, Title I and Title II, Student Support for Transient Students or Underserved Students, and Safe Schools.

Additionally many great strategies were shared. So that all affiliates can consider these ideas while developing their next steps, please complete the form below. The ideas will be posted on the ESSA and School Libraries.
