Terms of Service | Privacy Policy

Dear library administrator,

Recorded Books is updating its RBdigital platform and apps in response to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, effective May 25, 2018.

Here is a summary of the changes:

1. Our terms of service and privacy policy will include new sections that explain the data we collect, how we use it, and when and with whom we share it.
2. After the next release, patrons will be required to accept the updated privacy policy and terms of service upon their next access to RBdigital and, subsequently, whenever we publish updates to the privacy policy and/or terms of service.
3. Patrons will be able to view and download their personal information we collect and store.
4. Patrons will have the ability to remove their personal information from RBdigital.

Recorded Books is committed to assisting its library partners in keeping patron information safe and private while delivering quality content and outstanding service.
