Design Principles for Great Flyers - Part 1

Every library produces flyers and newsletters, but most of us don't have a graphic design degree. In this beginner level workshop, participants will learn a few easy-to-implement tips for fonts, colors, and layouts to make materials pop. Knowledge of Microsoft Word required.

Objectives:

·         To understand the design principles of typefacing (fonts)

·         To understand the basics of color theory and symbolism

·         To learn basic layout principles used in good designs

·         To complete a design project

This is a hands-on class taking place in the computer lab at the Middletown Library Service Center. Limit of 12 attendees.
