Hi Sheila and Janine,

I’ve got a column about Newsela and ReadWorks – evaluating the products and citation advice.

Abilock, Debbie. "Adding Friction. A Librarian Asks, 'What about Using a Database like Newsela or ReadWorks for Research?' ." School Library Connection, February 2018, schoollibraryconnection.com/Home/Display/2137091.

Hi all. Our district subscribes to Newsela. How are you citing articles found there?

Database/newspaper or Website/newspaper?

I had assumed the former (db/newspaper) since we subscribe to this database of news articles but am seeing conflicting preferences online. Thx!
