There is an opening at West Broad St School for a 29 hour position as a library media paraprofessional. The school is located in Pawcatuck, CT, easily accessibly via 95/Rt 2.  Responsibilities include shelving, light book repair, cataloging/processing books as needed, reader's advisory, creating displays, recording video morning announcements (training provided), checking out books when librarian isn't at the school, and other various tasks as needed.

Currently, we have 3 elementary schools and I am the only elementary librarian so my time is split (mornings at WBS every day). Candidates must be comfortable with working independently with guidance. This is a great school with a lot of support for the library. It would also be a great position for someone in library school looking to get some experience in a school library.
