"Reality Check": Augmented and
Virtual Reality in Libraries Join us this summer for this
FREE half day event featuring presenters representing academic, public and school libraries. Get an overview of this emerging technology, find out what innovative programs and services are being developed in schools and libraries, and have the
opportunity to get some hands-on experience too. This is a great way to not only learn and try this technology, but to network with other professionals in the field to think about innovative ideas you can bring back to your own schools and libraries this
Fall. Featured presenters:
Following the program, come tour and try out some technologies in "The
Studio", Farmington Library's "experiential and media production lab" or enjoy some "play time" with Kathy Schrock (links to apps will be made available ahead of time to registrants). Date: Monday, August 13, 2018 Time: 10-1 (9:30-10 registration; 1-2 play time/tour) Location:
Farmington Library, 6 Monteith Drive, Farmington CT - Community Room Cost: Free Click
