Hello all,

I am thrilled to be starting my first year as a library media specialist after 30+ years as an ELA teacher.  I've been reading the CASL list serve for the last couple of years, and your honesty, generosity, and knowledge amazes me.  Thank you for providing this incredible resource.

My school is grades 7 and 8, but we have some mature readers.  Teachers are asking me to stock some high school level books, but I'd like to have parent permission before I let some of them circulate.  How have other middle school librarians handled this?  Does anyone have a form they would be willing to share?

Thank you,
Cheryl
