Hi Geri,

InsertLearning has signed our state privacy pledge:

https://ctedtech.app.learntrials.com/new/organizations/157848/organization_tools/28959/details/overview

That does not guarantee that the software is compliant with our law, but it at least shows that a representative of the firm has reviewed and pledged compliance with our law. Are there aspects of their privacy policy that you feel do not align with the requirements of our law?

On a related note, I encourage you to use the Educational Software Hub “Request” feature to indicate your desire to use software that has not pledged compliance. I use these “Requests” to reach out to educational technology companies to indicate demand from our state. You can create an account and learn more here:

Best,

Doug

Waiting to see if InsertLearning signs district contract for use under Student Privacy Act - in the meantime, does anyone have any suggestions for work-alike app or extension that meets privacy needs?

Thanks,

Geri Dineen
