Tip: Here is how I add new books to my collection throughout the year. I purchase books at events like the following and get them autographed. I promote adopt-a-book program 2-3 times during the year and families choose from these pre-purchased books that have not yet been added into the collection. PTA collects the money and then I get reimbursed when I submit my receipts. It works out wonderfully! A gift plate goes inside the book and we make a special bulletin board and feature the donors with the books in our weekly news show.
