Hi Everyone:

I was asked by NEASC to pass along the following request.

Being on a visiting committee can be hard work but it is an interesting form of PD and an excellent way to prepare for your own NEASC visit.

FROM MELISSA SPINOSA AT NEASC:

The NEASC Committee on Public Secondary Schools is seeking certified Library Media Specialists from NEASC member schools to serve on visiting teams this fall and in the future.  We appreciate your consideration of our request and hope that you will be consider serving on a visiting team.  We invite you to visit our website https://cpss.neasc.org  and click on “Resources” then “Visiting Team Resources” and “Get Involved” to view information about being a visiting team member and the PowerPoint presentation of “What is it like to be on a school visit?”

Travel by automobile (mileage and tolls) and lodging expenses will be covered by the host school.  All rooms are single occupancy.  Opening meetings with members of your team will begin 10-11 a.m. on Sunday and you will be expected to remain until shortly after the school day ends on Wednesday.

You can list me at the contact at mspinosa@neasc.org and I will get back to them.
