Good morning,

After several months of discussions with the Code.org team, I can share that they have updated their terms to comply with Connecticut's data privacy statute. While I cannot serve as legal counsel or endorser, I can say that the terms appear to align with our law's contractual requirements. To allow teachers and districts to comply with the law, Code.org has created a means of electronically signing these revised terms via DocuSign.

To review and digitally sign the revised terms, districts and educators can visit Code.org's support article here:

https://support.code.org/hc/en-us/articles/360014891651-Code-org-and-the-Connecticut-Student-Data-Privacy-Law

As always, district leaders, educators, and the educational technology community may use the resources our Commission has made available at http://StudentPrivacy.CT.gov, including the Connecticut Educational Software Hub, https://Connecticut.LearnPlatform.com.

Best,

Doug
