Hi –
I’ve recently taken over at a high school that uses LibGuides. Our SpringShare license is up for renewal and I have to decide whether to continue with LibGuides CMS or downgrade to LibGuides.
From what I understand, LibGuides CMS offers discussion boards, forms, courseware integration, publishing workflow, and other features that aren’t being used. It seems logical to downgrade and save some money but I’m reluctant to do so
without compromising the integrity of the current site. Any input anyone has about the two platforms would be helpful.
Also – if anyone discontinued using LibGuides and is using another platform to host their website please share that info as well!
