Everyone,
If you have added or want to add records for researchIT CT’s Rbdigital eAudiobooks and eBooks into your library’s catalog, please read on.
MARC records current as of October 16 for researchIT CT Rbdigital eAudiobooks and eBooks are now available here:
https://libguides.ctstatelibrary.org/researchIT_CT/about-researchIT_CT/MARC_records
The records are divided into four parts:
eAudio Purchased Titles
eAudio Classics Subscription
eBook Purchased Titles
eBook Classics Collection
The same four parts are also present in RDA format on the same page.
You will also find researchIT CT’s eAudiobooks and eBooks when you search OneSearch. Thanks to my colleague Gail Hurley who FTPd the records to EBSCO for installation in our OneSearch discovery layer.
For those unfamiliar with the service, researchIT CT provides access to a collection of eAudiobooks and eBooks free to all Connecticut residents. Users can check out these books using their Connecticut public library card number. K-12 school
users can access the collection without a public library card when on campus. You can add MARC records for these eAudio and eBook titles to your local library catalog so that they will be discoverable to your users along with all of your own resources.
