Good morning,

Thank you so much to everyone who replied to my query about visiting local CT makerspaces! It was so encouraging to see so many people willing and even excited to share their spaces! I am working with my district team of LMS to come up with some common days that would work for us to set up some visits - I hope to be in touch with some of you soon!

Hi:

I have a small MakerSpace at East Haven High School.  You are welcome to see it and I would be more than happy to discuss it with you.  I would also like to see other school MakerSpaces!

Good morning,

My fellow district library media specialists and I are interested in learning about and visiting local CT schools that have embraced the maker movement in their libraries to see the different approaches to implementation. Do you have a makerspace in your school library or in your school in general? Would you be willing to have a few visitors come and see how your space works and how you got started? We would ideally like to see examples from different levels so that we can approach it from a districtwide mindset.

Thanks so much for any information or advice you can share!
